David has a Masters in Engineering Management, with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Upon completing his undergrad, he proceeded to jump into the field quickly, taking on work with General Dynamics. This early submersion into the strictest of engineering policies and procedures was a great sharpening tool that has led to a successful career working with military, security, government, and non-government organizations. He has over 10 years of experience developing designs, from prototypes to final production of complex systems. His adherence to quality assurance coupled with an unrelenting work ethic defines Rowken Solutions.
David also has played ice hockey since the day he was born. Understanding what a team is, and how personalities integrate is the first step in solving any problem. Rowken fully embraces this concept; inclusion, encouragement, hard work, sacrifice, and remembering to enjoy the moments along the way. He lives Northwest of Charlotte, NC in Denver with his wife Laura. They enjoy spending time on Lake Norman and stay very busy raising the next Wayne Gretzky.
Andrew studied Systems Engineering and Engineering Management at the University of North Carolina Charlotte, bringing a blend of academic knowledge and practical experience to his role. Andrew is the linchpin in facilitating all operations at Rowken, drawing from his diverse background in packing and shipping, material/inventory management, and information technology. With a strong commitment to fostering a positive work environment, he ensures that the company operates smoothly and efficiently. However, he's uncompromising when it comes to matters of employee safety and quality assurance, expecting nothing but the highest standards from his team.
Outside of work, Andrew maintains an active lifestyle. He continues to indulge his passion for hockey by playing in a men's league and also volunteers as a coach for a youth team, demonstrating his dedication to both the sport and community. His interests extend to building computers, restoring furniture, and embracing the outdoors, whether it's through hiking adventures or relaxing moments at the beach.
